From Jerusalem--Back in the Holy Land By David Lewis

I'm here for a CNN documentary. Got here last night and saw the new airport which was huge and gorgeous. I'm staying at the legendary American Colony in East Jerusalem where I've had many a meeting before but it's lovely to stay here. (Ibrahim is one of the legendary bartenders of the world.)

Mostly I'll be working on the CNN project but will have many meetings with people on The Quest for comedy. Last night I met with Dr. Khuloud Khayyat Dajani, the Dean of Public Health at Al Quds University and top aide to its President Sari Nusseibeh and also Dr. Sari's aide, Dimitri Diliani, who I'd also met in June with Marcia Riklis and in October when he came to Ray's show at the US Consulate. With Nusseibeh at Harvard this year, they are very busy.

I asked them to help me find a Palestinian Executive Producer for the project and they had many good ideas. Stay tuned.

Tonight I'll see Dr. Rafiq Husseini from the Welfare Association, who's on the Advisory Board, to discuss the above and many other things.
